The Law 4599/5.3.2019 amended the Law on Special Administration per the following:
a) The duration of the Special Administration can last 18 months with the possibility of extension for 6 months.
b) The Special Administrator has the option to exchange the company’s real estate with equal value third parties’ properties.
c) The company under Special Administration is now exempted from the obligation to submit insurance and tax certificate, where required
d) All abovementioned amendments have a retrospective effect, concerning companies which have been entered into Special Administration prior to the publication of the Law.
